The Dosimetry and Activity Visualizer for Yttrium-90 Radioembolization (DAVYR) is a mathematical tool designed to provide the user with a more clear understanding of the relationship between the different methods of activity (GBq) determination and compartmental (liver, lung, tumor) dose (Gy) with respect to Yttrium-90 Radioembolization/Selective Internal Radiation Therapy (SIRT). Utilizing highly customizable graphs that dynamically plot parameters and variables, Medical Internal Radiation Dose (MIRD), Body Surface Area (BSA) and Partition Model can be explored with respect to the dose and activity in each compartment utilizing the commonly used methods of activity/dose determination. Graphs plotting the relationship between tumor volume, lung shunt, and tumor to normal ratio allow for real time estimation of activity within each compartment and can be modified in real time through interactive sliders and buttons. These graphs and plots are created under the assumption of uniform distribution within each compartment based on the entered parameters. As this app is intended for mathematical modelling only, there is no differentiation between the different types of radioembolics, microclustering, or number of particles. Based on user feedback, we’ve made some significant improvements and refinements to the graphical user interface, as well as the functionality.
