We are an education community for asking and replying to questions inside and outside lectures! The application connects you with your course mates who are enrolled in the same modules as you are. AskIt enables students to embrace their curiosity through anonymous questioning and replying. Through a voting system on questions and answers, AskIt keeps itself relevant at all times. Lectures have the opportunity to gain an extensive and informal feedback on their lectures by using AskIt. They will then have the opportunity to address these questions immediately on the application. When doing so, their reply will be highlighted and visible for all students. Creating a community around your own academic environment is a central objective for the AskIt project. Signing in with your university e-mail is all the information required to make an AskIt account. AskIt is currently only available for the use of certain Newcastle University students. Use AskIt to: Connect your academic community on an informal, anonymous platform. Ask questions and create a discussion in advance of essays and assignments. Practice your ability to answer exam-like questions and receive feedback from peers and lectures. Receive information from lectures concerning lectures, revision, tutorials and much more.
